Classes
Pre Ballet
Designed to introduce children to the basics of ballet, while encouraging creativity and the development of musicality.
(Age: 3 to 5 years old)
Elementary
Students begin formal study of classical ballet technique based on the Vaganova syllabus. Minimum study requirement is two classes weekly.
(Age: approximately 6 to 8 years old)
Intermediate
Students continue formal study of Vaganova ballet technique. Level of intensity increases, as more intricate steps and combinations are introduced. Pointe study begins for ladies. Contemporary technique and Russian gymnastics are also strongly encouraged as enrichment. Minimum study requirement is four ballet classes weekly.
(Age: approximately 9 to 13 years old)
Advanced
Students train intensely to perfect technique and develop artistry. Advanced material is studied based on the Vaganova syllabus. Training is structured to prepare students for professional careers in ballet. Pointe, classical variations, contemporary technique, and Russian gymnastics are studied in addition to ballet technique. Minimum study requirement is 6 ballet classes weekly.
(Age: approximately 14 to 21 years old)
