MISSION STATEMENT
Valentina Kozlova's Dance Conservatory of New York is dedicated to providing the highest level of dance instruction to both pre-professional and primary students, preparing them for a professional career in dance.

OVERVIEW OF THE SCHOOL
Valentina Kozlova's Dance Conservatory of New York was founded in 2003 by Valentina Kozlova, Artistic Director. Ms. Kozlova, a former Principal dancer with both Bolshoi Ballet and New York City Ballet, and her faculty, train aspiring dancers in the Vaganova Method.

The schools stylistic philosophy is based on traditional Russian technique, flavored with American idiom. Classes are demanding while maintaining a friendly and intimate atmosphere. In addition to teaching a solid classical technique, VKDCNY strives to develop accomplished, artistic dancers who are encouraged to perform. The advanced and apprenticeship levels are designed for our most advanced pre-professional and professional dancers. 

Several VKDCNY students have been recognized at major international and domestic dance competitions such as the International Ballet Competition-Varna, USA-International Ballet Competition, Youth America Grand Prix or Orlando World Ballet Competition.
