VKDCNY student, Demitra Bereveskos will compete at Tanzolymp in Berlin, Germany with students from across tthe world for scholarships. Tanzolymp or Dance Olympics, is an international dance festival designed for young dancers to showcase their talents. VKDCNY wishes Demitra the best of luck in Berlin.

December 2011-

On Saturday, December 10, VKDCNY alumna Whitney Jensen, and current VKDCNY students, Sarah Steele and Veronika Verterich all danced the title role of Sugar Plum Fairy with companies up and down the east coast. Whitney danced Sugar Plum Fairy with Boston Ballet in Massachusetts, Sarah danced with Nunnbetter Dance Theater in New Jersey, and Veronika danced to a standing ovation with Dance Arts Theater in North Carolina. VKDCNY is very proud of its Sugar Plum Fairies!
